Ivy’s history

Meet the visionaries.

At the helm of Ivy Clinics are driven, committed and knowledgeable specialists who have made a name for themselves with the organization Huisartskliniek (founded in 2008); a national organization that makes cosmetic and surgical procedures accessible to everyone, by working with specialized general practitioners. With over 35 locations, Huisartskliniek was a huge success, safe, accessible and close to home.

Both Natale Adamo and Judith Eggersman were also closely involved with the Dutch Society for Cosmetic Surgery (NVvCC) and, under the direction of the Care Institute of the Netherlands, collaborated with other relevant parties in the cosmetic industry for more than 2 years on the now-published Quality Framework for Cosmetic Medicine. A guideline for quality assurance in the cosmetic industry.

Two locations of the then Huisartskliniek (Westervoort and Den Bosch) were in-house and had grown so much over the years that it was time for a new concept, under the name Ivy clinics. Since 2020, there has also been a location in the Stadshart Amstelveen and in Amsterdam center. As one of the first cosmetic clinics, Ivy clinics had a clear mission, vision and values, also called our ethical compass. These include natural results, honest and transparent advice and sustainability.

Natale Adamo, medical director, has long since ceased working as a general practitioner and has focused entirely on cosmetic medicine. He has held the title of Cosmetic Physician KNMG since July 1, 2019. Judith Eggersman, in addition to being general director of Ivy clinics, has been an injectables trainer since 2008 and has now trained over 40 doctors. So you can also regularly meet her on the shop floor. Ivy clinics has also been a training clinic for the SOCG training institute since 2022, which is responsible for obtaining the title of cosmetic doctor KNMG. A doctor in training to become a cosmetic doctor KNMG is employed in the clinic for a minimum of 2 years. So it may well be that sometimes a second doctor is present during a consultation.

The offerings at Ivy clinics are very extensive. These include skin therapeutic treatments (lasers, peels, etc.), injectables (botulinum toxin, fillers and skin boosters) and surgical treatments such as upper and lower eyelid corrections, liposuctions, earlobe reductions, etc.

At Ivy clinics, we work according to meticulous core values. Thus, at Ivy clinics you are assured of natural results, transparent advice and high quality. Our quality manager keeps a close eye on the latter. Inner and outer beauty go hand in hand at Ivy clinics. After all, you want to look as good as you feel.

Finally, Ivy clinics places a high value on ethical business practices and sustainability. This is reflected, for example, in the materials we use.
