Liquid facelift, do you choose a 4-points or 7-points facelift?
Nowadays we are increasingly asked how to keep looking rested, fresh and youthful for as long as possible. Often a tired look is not due to 1 problem area, and single treatment of 1 zone of botox or 1 ml of filler does not give sufficient results. As you age, collagen and elastin decrease in your skin. This causes the skin to sag. Also, over the years, the bone structure of the face changes (such as under your eyes or at your temples) and the natural fat compartments diminish, causing gravity to draw in the face. As a result, you are more likely to look tired when you are not at all. Or you may have an angry or sad look when you don’t feel that way. This can be a reason to opt for a liquid facelift.
Strategic treatment
To give you back that fresh radiant face, the cosmetic doctors at Ivy clinics look at your entire face. We call this a holistic approach, addressing the entire face from 3 elements: contour enhancement, volume restoration and addressing fine lines. We are able to take the original shape of the face well into account, keeping the result natural. Here it is important that not so obvious areas of the face are also treated such as the jawline, temples, chin, the middle of your face (mid-face area).
Depending on your age and degree of facial aging, a plan will be drawn up together with you. We distinguish between a 4-points facelift and a 7-points facelift. On the basis of the plan drawn up together, the doctor will inject the filler at strategic points to achieve the desired result. In up to 3 treatments, we treat the face with a targeted, systematic approach. The treatment consists of a combination of different types of fillers, possibly combined with an additional treatment of temporary muscle relaxants (botox).
Result
The result of the liquid facelift is visible immediately after the first treatment. Because we perform the treatment in stages, the full final result is achieved 4-6 weeks after the last treatment. This way of treatment is very focused on customer satisfaction but also on durability. By choosing very well where the fillers are placed you will enjoy it longer. It is recommended that after about 1 year to update the result. This way the fluctuations in the appearance are limited and the effect of the treatment is maintained.
What do I need?
The amount of fillers really depends entirely on your age and degree of skin aging. For a 4-points facelift, you can think of about 3-4 ml of fillers. And with the 7-points facelift, you’ll quickly get to 4-6 ml of filler. This treatment we build up over several appointments in our clinic.

Other treatments
As a further complement to the full-face approach with fillers and any temporary muscle relaxers, we also look at your skin condition.
