Venus V-Line PDO threads contain biocompatible, fully soluble threads of polydioxanone (PDO). The threads will dissolve in the skin after six to eight months. The result of the soft-lift lasts up to two years and can be repeated at any time without problems. For best results, a touch-up after 9-12 months is desirable.
A thread elevator treatment can be performed on all ages and skin types. Often younger people produce more collagen so the effect will be greater. Should there be too much skin sagging we do not recommend this treatment. In that case prefer to opt for a surgical elevator. A combination with another treatment such as botox or hyaluronic acid filler is also possible.

Through this opening, the Venus V-Line PDO wire is inserted into the deeper layer of skin. How many wires are needed depends on the area to be treated. The cannula is removed and the wire attaches itself to the tissue, creating an immediate lifting effect. Due to collagen formation, the final result is not visible for 3 to 4 months. The treatment is generally not painful. You can go home immediately after the procedure.

We also recommend not exercising or doing heavy work for the first two weeks. Sauna, tanning beds or skin treatments are not recommended for the first two weeks. The skin often recovers quickly after a thread elevator treatment. You should keep in mind that bruising and swelling may occur after the treatment. Should these occur, they often disappear within a few days.
The thread elevator is a very safe treatment. Still, as with any surgery or treatment, there are risks. After treatment, bruising and slight swelling may occur. However, these disappear on their own and are not a cause for concern. Everyone has a different wound healing process, so in some cases recovery may take a long time and a small scar may appear.
