JULÄINE™ is a poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) based filler designed to stimulate the skin’s natural collagen production. By activating fibroblasts, it helps the skin regain its firmness, elasticity and volume.
In addition to its rejuvenating properties, JULÄINE™ is unique as a biostimulator because it targets only healthy type I collagen, eliminating the risk of inflammation, fibrosis or nodules.
Treatment with JULÄINE™ is suitable for individuals who want to improve the quality of their skin. The greatest effect is seen in people where skin aging is visible because collagen production has decreased. Skin aging can manifest itself through wrinkle formation. Skin sagging and loss of volume. In addition, JULÄINE™ is also suitable for people with (very) dry skin, with (acne) scars on the face or stretch marks on the body.

During the consultation, of course, there is plenty of room to ask your questions. The doctor will take the time to answer them all. If you like, you can bring someone with you to the consultation or record the conversation on your phone so you can listen back to it at your leisure later.
A consultation at Ivy clinics is free of charge and without obligation. The consultation in no way obliges you to proceed to treatment. Of course there is time and space for treatment if you wish.

The treatment takes place in a treatment room. You take your place on the treatment chair and the skin is disinfected. JULÄINE™ is inserted by means of an injection. Depending on the treatment area, several injections are given. Anesthesia is generally not necessary, but if desired, we can numb skin beforehand with lidocaine cream.
Performing a treatment with JULÄINE™ takes about 10 minutes, depending on the treatment area.
Although treatment with JULÄINE™ is a quick treatment, there are some things to consider after treatment. Immediately after treatment, the injection site may be red and swollen. This is expected and will go away on its own after a few days.
After treatment, we recommend gently massaging the treated area for five minutes for the first 5 days, five times a day, to promote even distribution of the product.

The use of JULÄINE™ is safe. However, in some cases, side effects may occur, such as:
These are calculated side effects that disappear on their own. In rare cases, a complication may occur. Reported complications are: Bumps and hardening, skin discoloration, infection and blood vessel occlusion. This is very exceptional.
To avoid complications, it is very important that the doctor is well aware of any health problems, pregnancy and medication use. A JULÄINE™ treatment cannot be performed if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
In some cases, treatment with JULÄINE™ is also not recommended. Contraindications for the use of JULÄINE™ are:
Depending on the condition of the skin and the desired result, 1 or 2 treatments with JULÄINE™ are usually required. It takes from 4 to 6 weeks before the final result is visible. After that, the result lasts for about 2 years.
