The treatment involves several small injections into the middle layer of skin, a technique known as mesotherapy. The product can also be very easily applied with a cannula in a sort of fan on the cheeks. In both cases, 1 ml is injected per side.
Thanks to the slight crosslinking of the hyaluronic acid, the product remains active in the skin for longer, so the positive effects are long-lasting. The addition of sorbitol protects the hyaluronic acid from rapid degradation and supports the skin in retaining moisture.
The treatment is virtually painless and does not require anesthesia. Performing a treatment with Stylage Hydromax takes about 10 minutes, depending on the size of the treatment area.
For optimal results, it is recommended to repeat the treatment once every three months. Results are visible almost immediately and improve overall skin quality.
A treatment with Stylage Hydromax has little downtime. Immediately after treatment, the injection site may be red and swollen. This is expected and will subside on its own after a few days.
