The Youlaser is a hybrid laser. This indicates that two different lasers are combined within one treatment. The fractional CO2 laser provides ablation (vaporization) of the skin while the 1540 nm laser provides coagulation (heat in the skin). A treatment with the innovative hybrid CO2 laser stimulates the production of collagen and elastin in the skin and realizes a visibly and tangibly younger skin.
Prior to treatment, the skin is numbed locally with a special cream. The laser vaporizes very small pieces of skin. In between, the skin remains intact. The skin will feel warm/burnt and you may experience some pain. Due to the evaporation of the skin, the treatment may smell unpleasant.
The treatment may be slightly palpable despite anesthesia.
Laser treatment with our CO2 laser is safe. After the procedure, the skin is rubbed with Alydran SPF 30; an aloe vera-based medical scar cream. The cream soothes the skin and makes it recover faster. In addition, this cream protects against harmful UV radiation.
The skin may become a little thick and red after treatment. This will go away within a few days. Any scabs also disappear after a few days.

Even without injection or cutting, the skin can react to treatment. Possible but perfectly normal side effects include: itching, tightness or sensitivity of the skin, and swelling on and around the treated areas.
In some cases, hyperpigmentation develops on the treated area. Therefore, avoid direct sunlight and keep the skin well protected from UV radiation. Here it is important to note that UV radiation can pass through glass even on a cloudy day.
